Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Agricultural Technologies, Professor Dr. Mahdi Abdul-Kadhim Eid, and as part of the activities of the Student Activities Unit, the College of Agricultural Technologies, in cooperation with the College of Nursing, organized a workshop entitled “First Aid.” The workshop was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Mahdi Hamza Manthour and Lecturer Dr. Ali Hussein Hasab, who presented the basic principles of first aid and the proper methods for dealing with emergency situations. The workshop was attended by the Dean, heads of departments, a number of faculty members, as well as students from the Departments of Medical and Natural Plant Technologies and Animal Production Technologies. This workshop comes within Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to enhance health awareness and develop students’ practical skills. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among private universities in Iraq.
