The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Committee at the College of Agricultural Technologies held an official meeting at the college library On March 30, 2026. The meeting, attended by the committee chair and its members, discussed several key pillars aimed at developing counseling work and enhancing the educational environment within the college.
The meeting featured a series of recommendations and organizational procedures, most notably the preparation of specific schedules for college activities in each department. These schedules will include the activity name, date, and location on a monthly basis. Furthermore, these activities will be documented with photos, and dedicated files will be opened for both completed and pending activities in preparation for issuing the necessary administrative orders.
The committee also emphasized the importance of reviewing the "Comprehensive Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Manual" and implementing its provisions to help consolidate educational values and reinforce commitment within the university community.
In the context of supporting student awareness, the attendees discussed mechanisms for preparing posters and educational brochures that contribute to developing students' awareness and improving their behavior. These efforts will be directly supervised and considered daily activities for which participating students will be rewarded.
The meeting also addressed the importance of organizing counseling workshops and lectures, ensuring they are documented with photos for announcement on the department, college, and university websites. Additionally, members were instructed to submit monthly reports to the committee chair regarding the achievements of each department.
The committee concluded its meeting by mandating a bi-monthly follow-up meeting to monitor the implementation of the college’s annual activity plan, ensuring continuity and the achievement of the desired educational goals.
This meeting aligns with the College of Agricultural Technologies' commitment to developing the psychological and educational counseling system. It aims to strengthen the system's role in building the student’s personality and awareness, in accordance with the educational institution's goals of preparing a conscious and responsible generation that contributes to community service.
