The activities of the 5th Annual Al-Mustaqbal Book Fair concluded on Wednesday morning, April 8, 2026. Held at Al-Mustaqbal University under the theme "Our Book… Our Future," the event drew a distinguished academic and cultural audience, reaffirming its position as one of the most prominent cultural events among Iraqi universities. Organized under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, the fair spanned five days filled with diverse activities. These events reflected the university's commitment to supporting cultural movements and enhancing the role of students in the knowledge landscape through their active participation. This edition saw the participation of 25 Iraqi and Arab publishing houses, alongside the presence of elite academics, writers, and poets. In this context, the Head of the Student Activities Department, Dr. Ahmed Hassan Shakir, emphasized that this session was marked by a notable Arab and international presence and an intensive cultural program that fostered dialogue and expertise exchange.
