This research undertakes a bibliometric examination of the existing literature addressing the relationship between poverty and sustainability development, summarising available studies. Using relevant keywords, we identified 920 peer-reviewed articles from the Scopus database, spanning the period from 2015 to 2024. Employing the Visualisation of Similarity Viewer (VOSviewer) for this bibliometric analysis, we categorised prominent publications, noteworthy journals, and contributing institutions. Furthermore, our review uncovered a clear pattern in research, suggesting a lack of recognition regarding the impact of sustainable development on reducing poverty levels in countries of the Global South. In terms of contributions, this study delineates five primary thematic clusters that elucidate the ways in which sustainability development reduces poverty. Through the application of text-mining analysis, our research establishes connections between specific environmental terms and the recent surge in global poverty. © 2024 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

With the increasing growth in numerous aspects of human life and activities, technology is becoming an unavoidable part of everyday life. It has become apparent that much can be lost in terms of productivity without technology. E-commerce has enabled consumers to greatly reduce their physical efforts in dealing with businesses, which translates to high convenience. This study assesses how e-commerce, digital marketing, and digitization have changed the business landscape in Iraq alongside digitalization and firm growth in Iraq. Furthermore, e-commerce adopters are found to do business with greater contentment and satisfaction as they have lower costs. This, in turn, results in even greater business expansion goals and objectives. E-commerce and growing digital marketing tools allow business expansion while greatly saving time and many physical resources. The study's outcome provides an impetus for policy formulation and its practical contribution to the study of the digital economy concerning the deployment of key resources such as internet infrastructure in developing economies like Iraq. © 2024 AgBioForum

In this study, the how e-commerce has changed the business landscape in Iraq will be assessed alongside digitaliztation and Iraq’s economic growth. The research shows like always that there is a very positive relation between the e- commerce adoption e- marketing tools along other factors, the business growth in doing so facilitates economic growth undoubtedly. Further adopters of e-commerce are found to do business with greater contentment and satisfaction as they have lower costs on conducting business. In turns resulting in even greater business expansion goals and objectives. In the current emerging scenario characterized by extreme global environmental issues, the need for sustainability-driven production has become one of the most prominent key requirements for organizations in general and companies in particular. The paper examines the correlation between green managerial awareness and sustainability in production, and the cumulative effect of these variables on poverty alleviation programs. The study was done in a quantitative manner where data was collected from 345 managers in manufacturing companies in a developing nation through SPSS analysis. The study exemplifies that there was an extremely high direct correlation between green managerial awareness and green implementation in production processes with r = .68 and p < .001. Also, there was proof to show that green intensity in organizations was significantly more related to enhanced poverty alleviation programs in terms of employment opportunities, fair payment, and community developmental works with b = .42 and p < .01. The study concludes that enhanced green awareness in organizations might work as a catalyst in enhancing sustainable production processes and triggering socioeconomic growth. © 2025, Social Sciences Research Society. In Iraq, social entrepreneurship is increasingly recognised as a promising path towards alleviating poverty and fostering holistic societal development. Poverty eradication is crucial for sustainable progress, and social entrepreneurship offers avenues for job creation, accessible goods and services, and overall economic growth. This study aims to enhance the effectiveness of social entrepreneurship in Iraq by improving economic, social, and environmental efficiencies. The research developed three hypotheses, drawing on theories such as Opportunity-Based Entrepreneurship, Social Network Theory, and the Schumpeterian Innovation Model. Through purposive sampling and 220 structured questionnaires, 217 responses were analysed. The findings indicate that social impact strongly predicts poverty alleviation, followed by economic empowerment and social value, though social innovation showed mixed results. Government policies were found to have insignificant result on the relationship between social entrepreneurship and poverty alleviation, attributed to perceived inadequate support for the private sector. Recommendations include regular evaluation of social innovation strategies, brainstorming sessions, empowerment programs, and fostering social impact through community and individual empowerment. By fostering an environment conducive to social entrepreneurship, Iraq can harness local innovations and community strengths to combat poverty effectively, ensuring sustainable development and societal well-being. © 2024 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

Energy poverty (ENP) constitutes a significant global challenge, adversely impacting income, education, healthcare, and the environment. This critical issue warrants the attention of current students. The present study investigates the impact of energy poverty on income, healthcare, education, environmental degradation, and food insecurity. Primary data were collected from university students in Iraq using a structured questionnaire. The data were then analysed using Smart-PLS to perform statistical investigation and modelling analysis. The results reveal a positive association between ENP and issues related to income, healthcare, education, environmental degradation, and food insecurity in Iraq. Based on these findings, the study provides practical recommendations for policymakers, aimed at reducing income, healthcare, education, and environmental poverty, as well as food insecurity, through significant improvements in energy resources. © 2024 asociación Cuadernos de economía.

The present study investigates the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in mitigating poverty in Iraq by examining business-driven CSR initiatives aimed at fostering economic growth, sustainable development, and improving social conditions. In the context of post-conflict Iraq, where poverty is significantly influenced by global challenges and social inequalities, the research undertakes an in-depth analysis of CSR efforts across various industries. It explores how corporations contribute to poverty alleviation through initiatives in education, community collaboration, and economic empowerment programmes. Adopting a quantitative methodology, the study utilises a sample of 357 respondents from the business, government, and other relevant sectors to assess the impact of CSR on socio-economic indicators. The analysis was conducted using Smart-PLS to examine the relationships among variables. The findings reveal that CSR activities focused on health, education, and infrastructure significantly reduce poverty levels in the country. The poverty reduction has been the significant factor for the success of the country and also included this factor in the sustainable development goals and this aspect needs the researchers’ emphasis. Hence, the present article investigates the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) and economic development (ED) on the poverty reduction (PR) in Iraq. The study also used the employment and industrialization as the control variables. The study gathered the secondary data from the World development Indicators (WDI) from 1991 to 2023. The study also employed the dynamic Autoregressive distributed lag (DARDL) model to check the nexus among the variables. The outcomes indicated that the FDI, ED, employment and industrialization have a negative association with poverty count and positive association with PR in Iraq. The article guides the policymakers in making the policies regarding to reduce the poverty using effective FDI, ED, industrialization and employment rate. © (2024), (Social Sciences Research Society). This research examines the potential of social marketing as a strategic mechanism for alleviating poverty in Iraq through diverse consumer-engagement approaches aimed at fostering awareness and involvement in a pro-poor agenda. Given Iraq’s critical economic challenges, the study highlights how social marketing facilitates tangible behavioural change among consumers to support impoverished communities. Social marketing tools serve to educate individuals on poverty-related issues while simultaneously mobilising resources and support through targeted outreach initiatives, enabling developing nations to address social challenges effectively. A mixed-methods approach was employed to assess the effectiveness of social marketing in motivating consumer participation. A comprehensive questionnaire was utilised to collect data on participants’ awareness of social marketing strategies and their perspectives on assisting those in poverty. Social marketing campaigns actively engage consumers, and this participation generates solutions that contribute to poverty reduction within communities. The findings underscore the efficacy of social marketing in addressing economic challenges and providing practical solutions for poverty relief initiatives. The study offers valuable insights for policymakers and social responsibility professionals in formulating effective strategies to integrate social marketing into poverty alleviation efforts through digital investment partnerships and community-based interventions. © 2024 AgBioForum

Because of the proliferation of digital technologies, organizations now have access to previously unimaginable troves of data. In order to make educated choices and generate beneficial results, accurate data analysis and interpretation are essential. The use of data visualization in this context has proven its value. Recent studies found that data visualization increased business owners’ drive to make a profit. To aid business owners in evaluating issues related to self-service data resources, a dynamic IoT-based enterprise management framework (IEMF-IDM) was presented. The suggested system uses fusion optimization techniques to maximize the fusion score and enhance decision-making through the use of various models and methods, such as machine learning and fuzzy approaches. Responsible production sustainability problems frequently require the need for decision-making in situations containing considerable uncertainty. the study sheds light on the result of Arena simulation to enhance the decision that makes responsible production for Al-Waha soft drinks company as well as identifying the optimized quantity in an environment that characterized by uncertainty which achieve that. The problem was identified in main dimension defines the future vision of applying the simulation mechanism and its positive influence in the field of inventory management. The study was applied in the field of soft-drinks industry depend on the process of changes in the current stage with the accumulation of causes of negligence and lack of development and modernization. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a plan was prepared that describes the practical application of the researched. Data and information related to the study variables were adapted an advanced scale appropriate for the study. Analyzing the data received regarding the study variables, the researcher employed the mechanism of Arena Simulation program. it certain the reality of applying agility manufacturing system can only be applied through the optimization-based simulation method. The study improved budgeting efficiency at industrial enterprises with evidence from Russia, Italy, and the Middle East. In the era of contemporary globalization and technological advancement, a budgeting system holds paramount significance in the effective management of the financial operations and activities, enhancing the overall efficiency of the firm's cash management, mitigating the risk of finance misallocation, and improving the overall financial performance of the enterprise. However, despite its effectiveness, there is a lack of evidence supporting budgeting automation and its efficiency in managing industrial enterprises. More so, limited theoretical and practical relevance is found in the context of Russia, Italy, and the Middle East. This research intended to fill the existing research gap where a qualitative research design was opted. Primary data were collected from the budgeting heads of 3 pharmaceutical firms, each located in Russia, Italy, and Iran. In-depth interviews with 3 budgeting heads identified that the conventional incremental budgeting system needed amendment and replacement with a consolidated and contemporary yet flexible approach to bring radical improvements at the macro-environment level within the industrial enterprise. The key findings led to the development of a model to improve budgeting efficiency, comprising three components: information and analytical/accounting support for budgeting, production accounting information, and a combination of the regulated operation prices. The consolidation of these three components can yield budgeting efficiency. © 2023 by the authors.

In the context of persistent poverty and the challenges posed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in developing countries such as Iraq. This research focuses on the specific perspective of low-income families and examines how short-term vision, uncontrolled consumption, and unemployment contribute to the perpetuation of absolute poverty. Employing a quantitative method with SEM-Amos version 23, the study surveyed 201 households from low-income backgrounds in 5 Al-Furat Al-Awsat provinces: Babylon, Najaf, Karbala, Diwaniya, and Al-Muthanna. The findings highlight that short-term vision and uncontrolled consumption have a more significant impact on increasing absolute poverty compared to unemployment. Moreover, the study reveals a positive moderation effect of lack of resilience among the variables and absolute poverty, except uncontrolled consumption. Notably, of lack of resilience serves as a vital moderator in the link between short-term vision, uncontrolled consumption, unemployment, and absolute poverty. The findings hold significance for informing behavioral interventions, policy development, and educational initiatives aimed at bolstering the resilience and strengths of individuals facing economic adversity, not only in Iraq but also in similar socio-economic contexts globally. © (2023), (Social Sciences Research Society). The primary aim of this research was to assess the direct influence of environmental challenges, social innovation, and the pursuit of sustainable development objectives on the alleviation of poverty within the context of Iraq. The impetus behind this study was to furnish actionable recommendations for mitigating poverty in Iraq. A sample comprising 296 respondents employed within the governmental sector was surveyed using a Likert scale questionnaire. The study employed a convenience sampling approach to procure cross-sectional data. Data analysis was conducted utilizing SPSS 26, incorporating regression and coefficient correlation analyses. The findings revealed a direct and positive relationship between environmental challenges, social innovation, sustainable development goals, and the alleviation of poverty in Iraq. This underscores the significance of these factors in contributing to our understanding. Consequently, the Government of Iraq could formulate impactful policies by heeding the recommendations derived from this research for poverty alleviation. Specifically, the study advocates for the Government of Iraq to address environmental challenges and foster social innovation. Furthermore, it strongly suggests leveraging sustainable development goals as a significant tool to foster advancement within the country. © (2023), (Social Sciences Research Society). Smartphones have recently surged in popularity, and the Internet has transcended time and geography to become a global instructional tool. The design of educational activities for digital learning and the utilization of technology tools are the core concerns of integrated education. Students were examined and questionnaires were completed in order to better understand their perspectives on digital learning. In order to better understand students' perspectives on digital learning, they were examined and asked to fill out questionnaires. A total of 116 students from four higher education institutions were chosen as educational research subjects. The findings showed that digital learning has a bigger influence on learning stimulation than traditional teaching, as well as a greater impact on learning outcomes. In addition, learning motivation has been found to have a large beneficial impact on learning outcomes, as well as a surprisingly good impact on learning acquisition, and it plays a vital part in improving the quality of university education to develop successful teaching practices, it is anticipated to conform with current teaching trends and take advantage of the benefits of digital learning. © 2022, Association Res Militaris. In the new area of technological revolution, Artificial intelligence AI emerges to play a crucial role in business processes today. Many researchers have focused on building intelligent and efficient applications for improving the manufacturing syste. However, many have not yet adapted to use the AI in their work. This paper conducted a statistical analysis that explore the role of AI applications in the developing manufacturing system in soft drinks companies (AI Waha as case study). Moreover, a qualitative interview has been conducted base on scarce literature as well as questionnaire as a tool to measure the correlation and regression of the variables. The results show that AI applications in the design and development of a product and process to improve the manufacturing system. © 2021 IEEE.
