Meeting of the Scientific Committee for the Arab Artificial Intelligence Forum A meeting of the Scientific Committee of the Arab Artificial Intelligence Forum was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Mudhafar Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific Supervision, and in the presence of: • Dr. Salwan Ubaid Waheed, Director of the Energy Research Center • Dr. Nidal Khudair Abadi, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Research Center • Along with members of the Scientific Committee The meeting discussed the scientific and organizational preparations for the Arab Artificial Intelligence Forum, which is organized by Al-Mustaqbal University in cooperation with the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi. The attendees reviewed the main themes and objectives of the forum, emphasizing the importance of enhancing scientific research, academic collaboration, and knowledge exchange in the fields of digital transformation and artificial intelligence, in line with recent technological advancements. The committee members highlighted the significance of the forum as an important Arab scientific platform that supports research development and bridges the gap between academic research and practical applications. They also stressed the need for coordinated efforts to ensure the successful organization of the forum in accordance with high academic standards. It is worth noting that the forum will be held at Al-Mustaqbal University on January 25–26, 2026.

The College of Engineering Technology Celebrates its Achievements for 2025 Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the College of Engineering Technology held its 2025 Achievements Ceremony to honor departments that received certificates of excellence and achieved high rankings in the Iraqi national classification. The ceremony also recognized a number of faculty members who achieved outstanding results in assessment and joint examinations. On behalf of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, honored the outstanding departments, praising their efforts in enhancing the quality of education and achieving academic accreditation standards. The Dean of the College of Engineering Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen, also honored a number of faculty members, staff, and administrators in appreciation of their dedication and effective contributions to supporting the educational and administrative processes at the college. This recognition underscores the college and university's commitment to motivating outstanding performance, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation, and raising the level of education and professional development to meet the requirements of quality and academic accreditation.

Al-Mustaqbal Energy Research Center Conducts Scientific Visit to Baghdad Center for Renewable Energy and Sustainability As part of its efforts to enhance scientific cooperation and exchange research expertise, Al-Mustaqbal Energy Research Center, affiliated with Al-Mustaqbal University, conducted a scientific visit to the Baghdad Center for Renewable Energy and Sustainability, located at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds. The visit was attended by the center's director, Dr. Salwan Obeid, and several members of the center's research staff. The visit aimed to learn about the Baghdad Center for Renewable Energy and Sustainability's operational mechanisms, its implemented projects, and its research and awareness programs in the fields of renewable energy and environmental sustainability. It also provided an opportunity to discuss prospects for joint cooperation between the two centers in scientific research, specialized training, and academic and practical capacity building. During the visit, scientific and technical views and expertise were exchanged on developing solar energy projects, promoting a culture of sustainability and clean energy, and supporting research initiatives that contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The importance of research and institutional partnerships between scientific centers to support and develop the renewable energy sector in Iraq was emphasized. Within the activities of the third day of the Iraq Energy and Renewable Energy Conference held at the Baghdad International Exhibition, and under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Technologies, Dr. Azher Mohsen Abd the staff of the Almustaqbal Energy Research Center made an official visit to the exhibition, representing: Director of the Center Dr. Salwan Obaid waheed Dr. Mohamed Maitham Obaid Engineer Ali Nael Hassan Researcher Israa Mohammed Hassan The visit aims to review the latest technologies and solutions provided in the field of solar energy and renewable energy, where a number of local and foreign companies specialized in this sector were met, and opportunities for cooperation and future partnerships were discussed to serve the research and application aspects. During the meetings, they also discussed the possibility of organizing specialized training programs for university students, either through practical training courses in the field of designing and installation of solar energy systems, or through electronic workshops (Online Workshops presented by experts of participating companies, with the aim of raising the efficiency of students and linking the academic aspect to practical application and the labor market. This participation comes within the efforts of the Future Center for Energy Research to enhance cooperation with specialized institutions and companies, support the university's orientation towards sustainable energy and develop the research and technical capabilities of students.

ALMUSTAQBAL ENERGY RESEARCH Center Meets with Giza Cables Company on the Sidelines of the Iraq Energy and Renewable Energy Conference Staff from the Future Center for Energy Research, affiliated with ALMUSTAQBAL University, participated in the Iraq Energy and Renewable Energy Conference, held at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds. The conference was attended by leading specialists, experts, and local and international companies operating in the energy and renewable energy sector. The Center's participation included an important scientific and professional meeting with Giza Cables Company, a leading manufacturer of electrical cables and energy solutions. The meeting explored potential areas of collaboration between the two parties to enhance scientific research and build academic and practical capacity. The conference was attended by numerous local, Arab, and international companies specializing in the clean energy sector. During the conference, the center's delegation held an important scientific and technical meeting with SigenStor, a leading company in solar energy solutions and smart energy storage systems. Almustaqbal Energy Research Center Meets with Leading Chinese Sodium Battery Technology Company During the Iraq Energy and Renewable Energy Conference As part of its participation in the Iraq Energy and Renewable Energy Conference held at the Baghdad International Fair, the staff of the Future Energy Research Center at Future University continued their series of scientific and technical meetings with international companies specializing in clean energy and energy storage. The Center's participation included an important and fruitful meeting with Mianyang Liyuan New Energy Co., Ltd. (SSGE), a leading Chinese company specializing in the development and manufacturing of energy storage systems. SSGE is a pioneer in modern sodium battery technologies, which represent one of the most important future alternatives to traditional lithium batteries. A Distinguished Technical Meeting and Innovative Technologies During the meeting, the company presented a detailed explanation of the sodium battery technology it utilizes in its systems. Participation of the Future Energy Research Center Staff on the Second Day of the Iraq Energy and Renewable Energy Exhibition

The staff of the Almustaqbal Energy Research Center participated in the activities of the second day of the Iraq International Energy and Renewable Energy Exhibition, held at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds in Baghdad. The exhibition witnessed wide participation from local, governmental, and international companies specialized in various energy sectors. This participation aimed to enhance communication and cooperation between the Almustaqbal Energy Research Center and companies operating in the energy sector, particularly in solar and renewable energy, in support of the strategic directions of Al-Mustaqbal University and the Center toward sustainability and the development of scientific and practical solutions suitable for the Iraqi context. During the exhibition, the Center’s staff conducted a series of technical meetings and discussions with representatives of several local, governmental, and international companies.
