As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategy, led by its President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, to strengthen national partnerships and engage with reputable Iraqi universities, a high-level delegation from the university conducted an official visit to the University of Sulaimani to explore opportunities for academic and scientific collaboration between the two institutions
The delegation was headed by Professor Dr. Muzafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and included Professor Dr. Tariq Jawad Kazem, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, and Dr. Samir Bedrawi, Director of the Cultural Relations Department. The delegation was received by Professor Dr. Koser Mohammed Ali, President of the University of Sulaimani, accompanied by the University’s Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Zana Hassan
The meeting began with a brief presentation delivered by Dr. Al-Zuhairi, highlighting the progress and achievements of Al-Mustaqbal University in recent years. He emphasized the university’s commitment to building effective partnerships, especially given the presence of similar academic programs and specializations that could serve as a foundation for launching joint scientific and research initiatives
For his part, the President of the University of Sulaimani welcomed the visiting delegation and praised the distinguished academic reputation that Al-Mustaqbal University has earned locally and internationally, particularly after securing advanced positions in several reputable global rankings. He also expressed the university’s readiness to move forward toward signing a scientific and cultural cooperation agreement in the near future, paving the way for the exchange of expertise and the development of academic programs between the two institutions
