The Measurement and Evaluation Unit Participates in the Activities of the Iraqi Anti-Drug Awareness Week at Al-Mustaqbal University

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Abbas Abd Ali Al-Bawi, Al-Mustaqbal University organized the Iraqi Anti-Drug Awareness Week, with wide participation from the university’s colleges and administrative units. The staff of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit played an active role in organizing the week’s activities, which included scientific and awareness workshops, specialized exhibitions, and research presentations addressing the dangers of drugs and methods of prevention. The scientific and professional role of the unit was evident throughout the events, as Prof. Saad Fathallah Al-Alam, Director of the Unit, chaired the committee responsible for reviewing the research on drug prevention, with Prof. Nada Khazaal serving as a member of the discussion committee. Additionally, Programmer Ruqaya Fadel participated in organizing and attending the various activities. This participation reflects the unit’s commitment to fulfilling its mission of enhancing community awareness, reinforcing ethical values, and promoting health culture among students and university staff, in order to ensure a safer, more stable university environment free from harmful behaviors.

Measurement and Evaluation Unit Participates in the Activities of the Sustainability Ambassadors Camp

Under the patronage of the Respected President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and the supervision of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawi, the Measurement and Evaluation Unit actively participated in the activities of the " Al-Mustaqbal Ambassadors for Sustainability Camp," organized by Al-Mustaqbal University at the Babylon Tourist Resort, with wide local and international attendance. This participation stems from the Unit's commitment to an active field presence in major university activities, affirming its vital role in embodying the university's vision toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and fostering community engagement. The Unit’s staff presence was characterized by dynamism and variety, as they participated in the sports activities, including the running and cycling marathons, which reflects a commitment to promoting physical health as part of a sustainable lifestyle. Alongside the athletic efforts, the Unit’s personnel played a prominent role in the organizational aspects, contributing to the support of the camp committees to ensure the smooth running of the program and the logistical success of the event. Furthermore, the Unit allocated a dedicated space to showcase its outputs within the camp’s exhibition, featuring a collection of technical reports and statistical publications issued by the Unit. The staff provided visitors and participating delegations with a brief explanation of these reports, which document performance indicators and approved measurement mechanisms, underscoring the pivotal role the Unit plays in ensuring quality control and providing accurate data to support academic decision-making.
