Monitoring and Evaluation of the Joint Examinations at Al-Mustaqbal University – College of Science, Department of Intelligent Medical Systems

As part of the continuous monitoring efforts by the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the patronage of the respected University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant University President for Scientific Affairs, and Professor Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems organized a joint examination in coordination with its counterparts at the University of Information Technology and Communications and the College of Medical and Biological Informatics. In line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and Lecturer Dr. Sarah Mahdi Obeid, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the college, the exam was administered with direct oversight by the Head of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems and the department's rapporteur. To ensure that the exam was conducted in full compliance with ministerial regulations and instructions, all examination procedures were closely monitored and evaluated according to the standards of measurement and evaluation, aiming to enhance the quality of both the educational and examination processes at Al-Mustaqbal University.

Monitoring and Evaluation of the Joint Examinations at Al-Mustaqbal University – College of Science, Department of Medical Physics

As part of the ongoing monitoring efforts by the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the patronage of the respected University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant University President for Scientific Affairs, and Professor Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, the first joint examination was conducted by the Department of Medical Physics in collaboration with its counterpart at the College of Science – University of Al-Qadisiya (Department of Medical Physics). In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and Lecturer Dr. Sarah Mahdi Obeid, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the college, the joint exams were held for two subjects: Analog Electronics for second-year students and Medical Physics for third-year students. The exams were conducted in compliance with the regulations and standards set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Specialized committees were formed to oversee the examination process, prepare exam questions, and manage supervision and invigilation. A suitable environment was provided to ensure a smooth and transparent examination process, reinforcing the principle of academic cooperation between Iraqi universities. To guarantee proper implementation in line with ministerial regulations, the examination procedures were monitored and evaluated according to measurement and evaluation standards, with the aim of enhancing the quality of the educational and examination processes at Al-Mustaqbal University.

The Measurement and Evaluation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a training course titled "How to Prepare a Blueprint for Course Specifications."

With the support of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Saad Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, the unit conducted an online training course on the preparation of a Blueprint for Course Specifications. This training course is part of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit’s ongoing efforts to enhance assessment mechanisms and improve the quality of education at Al-Mustaqbal University.
