The College of Medicine at Al-Mustaqbal University Organizes a Training Workshop on Exam Mechanisms and How to Handle Exam Papers and Bubble Sheets

The College of Medicine at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a lecture and training workshop entitled "Exam Mechanisms and How to Handle Exam Papers and Bubble Sheets", as part of the college's ongoing efforts to enhance students' skills and raise their awareness of modern assessment methods. This event was held under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the esteemed President of the University, under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and with direct follow-up by Professor Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The workshop was conducted under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Walaa Louay Al-Falluji, Dean of the College of Medicine, and in coordination with Dr. Ban Dhahir Thabbah, Head of Measurement and Evaluation at the college. It witnessed active participation from first-year students, who engaged with the workshop topics and benefited from the information and guidelines presented. The workshop addressed the multiple-choice question (MCQ) exam mechanism adopted by the university in accordance with measurement and evaluation standards, along with essential instructions on how to handle exam papers and the bubble sheet format. It also included practical training aimed at enhancing students’ readiness for upcoming exams and ensuring their optimal performance in line with academic quality standards. This workshop is part of a series of educational activities through which the college seeks to develop students’ capabilities and prepare them academically and professionally in alignment with Al-Mustaqbal University's vision of leadership and academic excellence.

The College of Medicine at Al-Mustaqbal University Organizes a Lecture on Exam Instructions for First-Year Students

The College of Medicine at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a lecture entitled "Exam Instructions for First-Year Students", as part of the college’s efforts to enhance students’ skills and raise their awareness regarding exam procedures and the importance of adhering to examination regulations. This event was held under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the esteemed President of the University, under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and with direct follow-up by Professor Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The lecture was conducted under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Walaa Louay Al-Falluji, Dean of the College of Medicine, and in coordination with Dr. Ban Dhahir Thabbah, Head of Measurement and Evaluation at the college. It witnessed active participation from first-year students, who engaged with the lecture topics and benefited from the valuable information and guidance presented. During the lecture, all examination instructions required of students were clearly explained, with a strong emphasis on the importance of bringing the updated university ID badge and being present in the exam hall at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam. Additional instructions related to exam conduct and discipline inside the examination halls were also reviewed, in an effort to ensure the final exams are conducted with precision and smoothness, in alignment with the university’s academic quality standards. This lecture is part of a series of awareness activities through which the college seeks to prepare students psychologically and organizationally for exams, contributing to the enhancement of their performance and academic success.

College of Pharmacy Organizes a Lecture and Workshop on the Mechanism of the Evaluative Exam and How to Handle the Exam Paper and Answer Sheet (Bubble Sheet) – Al-Mustaqbal University

As part of the ongoing preparations to ensure a comprehensive exam environment aligned with the standards approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the College of Pharmacy at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a lecture and training workshop entitled "Mechanism of the Evaluative Exam and How to Handle the Exam Paper and Bubble Sheet." The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, under the direction of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Baawi, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, and with follow-up by Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The workshop was held under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khalid Faleh, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, with the participation of Dr. Mohammed Abdulrahman, the Scientific Assistant Dean, and Dr. Nada Khazaal, the Measurement and Evaluation Unit Officer at the College. The event was attended by several faculty members and students from the evaluative exam stages. The lecture addressed both theoretical and practical aspects related to handling the electronic answer sheet (bubble sheet), organizing the exam paper, and reviewing the exam instructions to be followed during the assessment. The workshop aimed to raise students' awareness and train them on how to perform the exam accurately and with discipline, helping to minimize errors and enhance readiness and transparency. These initiatives reflect the College of Pharmacy’s commitment to improving exam performance quality and implementing measurement and evaluation standards in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision to enhance the outcomes of higher education.

Training Workshop on Handling the Examination Paper for Students of the College of Fine Arts – Al-Mustaqbal University

As part of the efforts of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit to monitor examinations at Al-Mustaqbal University, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the esteemed University President, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Huda Hashem Mohammed, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, along with the College’s Measurement and Evaluation Officer, Lecturer Suhaila Kazem Jassim, the College organized a training workshop aimed at enabling students to effectively handle the examination paper and to conduct exams with efficiency and excellence without errors. During the workshop, students were trained and guided to adhere to examination instructions, maintain calmness, avoid attempts at cheating, respect regulations, and cooperate with supervisors. The examination schedules were also presented to the students to familiarize them with the arrangement of subjects. Additionally, outstanding students who participated in the Sustainable Development Week were honored. This workshop comes within the College's continuous efforts to support and guide students towards achieving distinguished academic performance.

The Measurement and Evaluation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a training course titled "How to Prepare a Blueprint for Course Specifications."

With the support of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Saad Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, the unit conducted an online training course on the preparation of a Blueprint for Course Specifications. The course was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdulrahman, a faculty member at the College of Pharmacy and the Training Officer at the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The training aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop an accurate and comprehensive blueprint for course specifications. The course covered the importance of the blueprint in assessing learning outcomes, the steps for its preparation, and its distribution across different assessment components to ensure fairness and objectivity in examinations. It also included practical applications and examples to help faculty members enhance the quality of their educational assessments. This training course is part of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit’s ongoing efforts to enhance assessment mechanisms and improve the quality of education at Al-Mustaqbal University.
