The final practical examinations for the first semester of second-year students at the College of Medicine – University of Al-Mustaqbal commenced on December 23, 2025, with the adoption of the latest measurement and assessment systems approved by the University of Al-Mustaqbal. The examinations were conducted using the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) system for the Anatomy course, in a well-organized and academically sound environment that reflects the University’s commitment to applying modern, fair, and objective assessment methods. The examinations were held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University of Al-Mustaqbal, with follow-up by the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the University, and under the direct supervision of Dr. Walaa Louay Al-Fallouji, Dean of the College of Medicine. They were also monitored by Dr. Ban Dhahir Al-Shammari, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the College of Medicine, with the active participation of the academic and technical staff of the College. The OSCE system was based on multiple stations designed to assess students’ practical skills and applied understanding of the course content, according to clear and standardized evaluation criteria that ensure objectivity and equal opportunities for all students. Safety and organizational requirements were fully observed, with precise time management and well-regulated movement between stations to ensure a smooth and accurate examination process. The implementation of this system aligns with the strategic direction of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the University of Al-Mustaqbal toward adopting and applying the latest scientific methods in assessment for both practical and theoretical examinations. This approach is consistent with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards, contributes to aligning assessment methods with contemporary academic benchmarks, and strengthens the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical skills, thereby preparing students academically and professionally in accordance with recognized measurement, evaluation, and performance quality standards.
