Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a training workshop entitled “Faculty Duties and Legal Responsibilities During Examinations” on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, with wide participation from the university’s faculty members. The workshop sessions were delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawi, Vice President for Scientific Affairs; Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Law; and Assistant Lecturer Noor Ali Shaker. The workshop addressed the legal and regulatory aspects related to faculty responsibilities during examinations, mechanisms for managing examination halls, handling emergency situations, and clarifying monitoring and examination control duties in accordance with applicable ministerial and university regulations. The workshop content also included a practical explanation of procedures to ensure examination integrity, methods for reducing examination violations, and clarification of the legal roles of faculty members before, during, and after examinations, contributing to enhanced institutional discipline and increased examination rigor. The workshop witnessed positive interaction from participants, who praised the importance of the topic and its relevance to their practical needs, particularly as it coincided with the examination period. Participants emphasized that the workshop contributed to raising legal and professional awareness and developing faculty skills in the field of measurement and evaluation. This workshop is part of a series of training programs organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to support academic performance development and consolidate quality and institutional accreditation standards.
