The activities of the first day of the Fourth International Sustainability Week at Al-Mustaqbal University were launched in a distinguished official and academic atmosphere, reflecting the university’s commitment to promoting and embedding sustainability concepts across its educational and student activities. The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, inaugurated a series of scientific and artistic exhibitions, along with the launch of several sports activities held across a number of colleges, including Health and Medical Technologies, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and Arts. The events witnessed wide participation from academic leaders, faculty members, and students, who presented innovative scientific projects that demonstrated a strong engagement with sustainability concepts and their practical applications across various disciplines. The program also included art exhibitions addressing environmental themes in creative ways, in addition to sports activities aimed at promoting health awareness and encouraging students to adopt active lifestyles. During his tour of the exhibitions, the University President emphasized the importance of these initiatives in supporting applied education and linking theoretical knowledge with practical implementation. He also highlighted their role in empowering students to contribute effectively to achieving sustainable development goals.
