Referring to the directives of the esteemed President of Al-Mustaqbal University and under the direct guidance of the esteemed Director of the Technology Incubator Division, and in order to protect the university s data and prevent any breachesOrganized by the Technology Incubator Division, a meeting was held with college and department programmers regarding information security procedures.

Referring to the directives of the esteemed President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct guidance of the esteemed Director of the Technology Incubator Division, and in order to protect the university s data and prevent any security breaches of the university s website and electronic systems, the staff of the Technology Incubator Division—specifically the University Website Development Team—have been holding regular meetings to take the necessary technical measures in line with the National Cybersecurity Strategy. The meeting was attended by programmers from the Technology Incubator Division, where all essential technical procedures were discussed, and an agreement was reached to use the latest available technologies. The participants in the meeting emphasized the importance of raising the technical awareness of all members of the Technology Incubator Division at Al-Mustaqbal University and encouraged them to put more effort into developing their technical capabilities in the field of information security, with particular caution when using the servers related to the university s systems and website, ensuring the security and integrity of the university’s data

The University of the AL mustaqbal achieved outstanding results in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2024, ranking first among private universities and colleges nationally and second in Iraq. The university stood out among Iraqi institutions for its participation in the Times Higher Education Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) ranking, where it actively pursued sustainable development goals and tackled challenges such as climate change. The Future International Sustainability Week held from February 20-24, 2024, was a major regional event, underscoring its commitment to sustainability. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that Iraq ranked first in the Arab world and seventh globally in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2024, which featured competition from 2152 institutions across 125 countries worldwide. Based on these achieved results, Iraqi higher education and scientific research institutions are confidently advancing university performance quality and providing a positive educational environment that meets the demands for scientific knowledge and technical skills, serving the community and aligning with the goals of sustainable development set by the United Nations.

ALMustaqbal University celebrates the International Day of Girls in Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

ALMustaqbal University celebrates the International Day of Girls in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as part of its efforts to enhance the role of women in these fields. In collaboration with the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology, the Women's Affairs Department organized an event marking this global day. The ceremony featured a speech by Professor Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology, emphasizing the importance of women's leadership and innovation in ICT, highlighting their vital role in academic and university advancement. Following this, Dr. Sahira Qahtan Abdul Jabbar, Head of the Women's Affairs Department, stressed the significance of inspiring and supporting women striving for excellence in computer software, engineering, project management, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. The program included success stories of women in the ICT department at the university, as well as a documentary showcasing their innovative research and projects, supported and encouraged by the university president, Professor Hassan Shaker Majdi. Mr. Director of the Technology Incubator Division holds an expanded meeting with the website staff

An expanded meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Director of the Technology Incubator, A.M. Dr.. The respected Azhar Mohsen, in the presence of the staff of the Electronic Incubator Division/Website. The latest developments were discussed on the website, where current problems were identified and ways to address them were discussed. The meeting focused specifically on developing the website to rise to the ranks of international websites. Mr. A.M. addressed it. Dr.. Azhar Mohsen discussed possible development mechanisms, stressing the importance of updating the site and improving its content and structure to ensure a better user experience and attract a larger number of visitors.

The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, announced that the university has achieved an advanced position in the quality classification of Iraqi universities’ websites, according to the evaluation results announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research today for the academic year 2023-2024.

It's worth mentioning that Al Mustaqbal University had organized the Future Sustainability Week Festival from February 17 to 22, 2024, under the theme "Climate Change and the Future of Generations," under the auspices of Dr. Naeem Al-Abboudi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with broad local and international participation from universities, companies, civil society organizations, and official and popular attendance. This event was the largest qualitative event in the field of sustainable development in Iraq, shedding light on the most significant challenges facing the world in general and Iraq in particular, represented by climate change, through a series of activities including a Green Education Conference, numerous scientific product exhibitions, patents, and dialogue sessions, as well as the inauguration of several important projects and research centers during the festival.

The new Incubator Division - Database Center created an electronic workshop to showcase an innovative system for discovering and gaining experience

The Technology Incubator Division/Database Center held a workshop delivered by him Programmer Mustafa Muhammad Hussein about the electronic workshop system that provides a unique experience for participants in understanding the mechanisms and steps necessary to fully benefit from the electronic workshop. The new system aims to facilitate the registration process and provide an easy and effective mechanism for obtaining a certificate of expertise and reliability.The system targets workshops and seminars held at the university, whether electronic or in-person The workshop information can be entered and published on the site by the department’s person in charge. After the process of creating the workshop, it becomes available for subscription on the workshops’ website, where anyone can participate in it. Subscription closes before the day of the workshop. After the end of the workshop, the department’s person in charge activates the workshop and sends a link to the participants to withdraw certificates. Some of them are where the link is active for a period of time and then it is closed, a period determined by the person who activates the workshop.The system contains the feature of publishing news without the intervention of the authorized person, as it takes the information entered by the authorized person into the system and creates news and publishes it on the site for the workshops. It also contains the feature of issuing certificates to participants who have not previously subscribed in the event that they are late in participating. It also contains an archive of certificates issued to participants in If the certificate is lost, the certificate also contains a QR to check the reliability of the certificate.
