Monitoring and Evaluation of the Final Standardized Examination at the College of Law – Al-Mustaqbal University

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of higher education and ensure the implementation of approved standards in standardized assessments, the University’s Measurement and Evaluation Unit monitored the final examinations, under the direct supervision and patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, and under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and with follow-up by Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The standardized exam for second-year students was conducted on April 30, 2025, in a highly organized atmosphere, under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, along with the Scientific Associate Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatima Abdul Rahim, and the college’s Measurement and Evaluation Unit representative, Programmer Yaseen Abdul Hussein. The exam coincided with the visit of the Ministerial Committee and the Head of the Committee of Deans of Law Colleges, who reviewed the examination process and emphasized strict adherence to ministerial regulations and instructions. The exam proceeded smoothly and systematically, with reinforcement of key exam protocols previously addressed in intensive training workshops — particularly concerning the use of the electronic answer sheet system (bubble sheet). No issues were recorded during the exam, reflecting the students’ awareness and the efforts of the academic and administrative staff in ensuring its success. This comes in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to applying measurement and evaluation standards that contribute to advancing the quality of the educational and examination processes across its colleges.

Monitoring of Trial Exams and Preparation for Central Assessment Exams at Al-Mustaqbal University – College of Administrative Sciences

As part of the efforts by the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University, under the patronage of the esteemed President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, a trial exam was conducted in preparation for the central assessment exam at the College of Administrative Sciences. The exam was supervised by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Haider Mohammed Al-Dulaimi, Head of the Accounting Department, Dr. Ezzedine Hassan Al-Husseini, and Head of the Business Administration Department, Dr. Amjad Majeed, along with Asst. Lecturer Ibtehal Saad Al-Yasari, the measurement and evaluation officer at the college. The trial exam was administered in the Accounting Department for the subject of Accounting Theory, and in the Business Administration Department for the subject of Knowledge Management, as part of the Ministry’s plan to enhance student performance and readiness for final examinations. The college was also visited by Dr. Imad Wahab Abdulamir Al-Husseini and Dr. Aqdas Hussein Al-Nasser, representatives of the Accounting Department, as well as Dr. Dhafar Nasser Hussein and Dr. Ibtehal Fares Ali, for an on-ground inspection of the examination process. The exams were conducted smoothly without any organizational or technical errors. The supervising committee praised the excellent organization and the accuracy of the procedures, noting the college’s commitment to the approved standards for assessment exams.

Monitoring of the Trial Assessment Examination at Al-Mustaqbal University – College of Law

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ammar Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University, the trial examination in the subject of Obligations was conducted in preparation for the central assessment exam, in line with the Ministry's plan to enhance students' competence and readiness for final evaluations. The college received a visit from Prof. Dr. Miri Al-Khaikani, Head of the Committee of Deans of Law Colleges in Iraq, to observe the examination process firsthand. The exams proceeded smoothly and efficiently, with no organizational or technical issues reported. The supervising committee praised the excellent organization of the examination and the accuracy of the procedures followed, noting the college’s commitment to the approved standards of assessment exams. Accompanying the committee during the visit were Dr. Fatima Abdul Rahim, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Division at the college, and programmer Yassin Abdul Hussein, to follow up on the technical aspects and record observations aimed at enhancing the quality of the examination process.

Measurement and Evaluation Unit Participates in the Third International Festival of Future Sustainability Week at Al-Mustaqbal University

As part of the events of the Third International Festival of Future Sustainability Week, the Measurement and Evaluation Unit participated in the scientific exhibition held at Al-Mustaqbal University, where the unit presented a distinguished display highlighting its role in supporting quality assurance and continuous development within the university. This participation was held under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawei, the Scientific Assistant to the University President, and Professor Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, with outstanding contributions from Ms. Anfal Salah Kankoun and Ms. Dohaa Ibrahim Khalil, who provided visitors with detailed information about the unit’s tasks and operational mechanisms. The unit’s participation included a collection of recent publications, reports, and statistical data issued by the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, showcasing its efforts in assessing academic performance. It also featured introductory videos, statistics about Al-Mustaqbal University, and professionally designed banners that illustrated the unit’s vision, mission, objectives, areas of work, and its essential role in enhancing educational quality and ensuring the effectiveness of academic programs. The unit’s booth attracted significant attention and interaction from visitors, students, and faculty members, who expressed their appreciation for the displayed materials and the vital role the unit plays in supporting institutional development and achieving sustainability in higher education.

Monitoring and Evaluation of the Joint Examinations at Al-Mustaqbal University - College of Science, Department of Medical Biotechnology

As part of the continuous follow-up by the Measurement and Evaluation Unit for examinations at Al-Mustaqbal University, under the patronage of the respected University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and Professor Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, a joint exam was conducted in the Department of Medical Biotechnology at the College of Science. Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and Lecturer Dr. Sarah Mahdi Obeid, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the college, the joint exam was held as part of the twinning program between Al-Mustaqbal University and Al-Qasim Green University. This was done in accordance with the guidelines and regulations issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The exam was in the subject of Medical Microbiology for second-year students and is part of a series of joint examinations with the counterpart department at the College of Biotechnology – Al-Qasim Green University. The examination procedures were monitored and evaluated according to the standards of measurement and evaluation to ensure the enhancement of the quality of the educational and examination processes at Al-Mustaqbal University.

Monitoring and Evaluation of Joint Examinations at Al-Mustaqbal University – College of Fine Arts

As part of the efforts of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit in monitoring examinations at the University of Al-Mustaqbal, under the patronage of the respected President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, And in accordance with the regulations and standards set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Huda Hashem Mohammed, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, and Assistant Lecturer Suhaila Kadhem Jasem, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the College, The joint examination in the subject of Design History for second-year students in the Department of Design was successfully conducted. This exam was part of the twinning agreement with the corresponding department — the Department of Design at the College of Fine Arts – University of Babylon. The students completed the exam smoothly and expressed their satisfaction with the exam content, noting that the exam paper matched the specifications and that the procedures and regulations followed were clear and efficient. This reflects the application of measurement and evaluation standards, contributing to the enhancement of the quality of the educational and examination process at the University of Al-Mustaqbal.

Monitoring and Evaluation of Joint Examinations at Al-Mustaqbal University – College of Arts and Humanities

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hussein Waheed Aziz, the Assistant Dean, the Heads of Departments, and members of the teaching staff, the joint examinations at the College of Arts and Humanities continue as part of the academic cooperation with corresponding departments in both public and private universities, under the direct supervision of committees from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The examinations included the departments of English Language, Archaeology, and Media. All necessary logistical requirements were provided to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations, from preparing the halls and organizing student seating arrangements to creating a comfortable and orderly examination environment. This step aligns with the college’s continuous efforts to enhance the level of academic education and improve its outcomes, in line with the quality standards and educational frameworks adopted by Iraqi universities, and in accordance with measurement and evaluation standards aimed at advancing the quality of the educational and examination processes at Al-Mustaqbal University.

Monitoring and Evaluation of the Joint Examinations at Al-Mustaqbal University – College of Science, Department of Life Sciences

As part of the ongoing efforts of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit in monitoring examinations at Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the patronage of the respected University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant University President for Scientific Affairs, and Professor Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, the Department of Life Sciences conducted the first joint examination as part of the twinning program between universities. In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and Lecturer Dr. Sarah Mahdi Obeid, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the college, the Department of Life Sciences participated in this joint examination with its counterpart department at the College of Science for Women, University of Babylon. The joint exam included two specialized subjects for second-year students, which are not part of the national (central) evaluative examination. Committees were formed for supervising the joint exam, along with question-setting and invigilation committees. The examination procedures were monitored and evaluated in line with measurement and evaluation standards, aiming to enhance the quality of both the educational and examination processes at Al-Mustaqbal University.
