In implementation of the directives of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and with the follow-up of the university’s colleges and academic departments to ensure the smooth conduct of the educational process according to approved plans, field visits were conducted to the examination committees in various colleges and departments to review academic and administrative performance. These visits were carried out under the direct supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawei, the Scientific Assistant to the University President, and with the follow-up of Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The visits included several colleges to monitor the educational process and course instruction, assess student attendance compliance, and review the work of the examination committees in line with the evaluation instructions approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The visits aimed to ensure a suitable educational environment for students, monitor the accuracy of educational and administrative procedures within examination halls, and guarantee that faculty members adhere to the scheduled course plans. During the visits, records of grades were reviewed, approved, and documented in accordance with established regulations and laws. These visits reflect the continuous field supervision by Al-Mustaqbal University administration and underscore the commitment to educational quality standards and the university’s assessment system, enhancing the efficiency and quality of education across the institution.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawei, the Scientific Assistant to the President of the University, and with the follow-up of Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, the Questionnaires Guide Preparation Committee held its first meeting at the headquarters of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The meeting aimed to discuss the selection of the committee chairperson and establish the general framework for preparing the Questionnaires Guide across the university’s colleges. During the session, Dr. Sara Mahdi, College of Science, was nominated and unanimously elected as Chairperson of the Committee. During the meeting, the committee discussed the work plan for preparing the Questionnaires Guide, which includes identifying the types of questionnaires used in academic measurement and quality assurance processes, as well as mechanisms for their design and analysis in accordance with approved institutional standards. The committee also reviewed the main sections and contents of the guide, ensuring the standardization of questionnaire preparation and implementation procedures across all university colleges. The participants emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Measurement and Evaluation Unit and the Quality Assurance Department in preparing the guide, to ensure the integration and effectiveness of evaluation tools in assessing both academic and administrative performance. They also discussed the use of electronic tools for conducting and analyzing questionnaires, which would contribute to greater accuracy and faster completion of results. The meeting concluded with an agreement to develop a clear timeline for implementing the stages of the guide’s preparation, and to form specialized working teams to draft its chapters and sections, in alignment with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of advancing its measurement and evaluation system and applying best practices in academic quality assurance.

During the session, Prof. Dr. Nada Khazal, Professor at the College of Pharmacy, was nominated and unanimously elected as Chairperson of the Committee. The committee discussed the procedural steps and the timeline for preparing the Skills Guide in all university colleges, identifying the implementation stages that ensure the completion of the guide in accordance with approved academic standards. The meeting also included a review of the main components of the guide’s content, as well as mechanisms for integrating assessment skills within each academic course, thereby enhancing the quality of educational outcomes. During the discussions, emphasis was placed on the importance of coordination between the Measurement and Evaluation Unit and the Quality Assurance Department to ensure content accuracy and alignment between course skills and the intended learning outcomes. The committee also reviewed modern approaches and tools for measurement and evaluation, aimed at improving teaching efficiency and promoting the application of skills-based learning principles. The meeting concluded with an agreement to develop a clear timeline for completing the guide in each college and to form specialized working teams, in alignment with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of enhancing comprehensive quality and implementing advanced systems of academic measurement and evaluation.

Professor Dr. Saad Fathallah Al-Alam, Director of the Assessment and Evaluation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University, reviewed the unit’s key achievements during the previous academic year 2024/2025, in addition to presenting the new plan, which aims to enhance assessment mechanisms and improve academic performance. The meeting was attended by the assessment and evaluation representatives from all colleges of Al-Mustaqbal University. Discussions focused on the main pillars of the plan, while exchanging suggestions and opinions that would contribute to the advancement of assessment and evaluation practices, thereby supporting the development of the educational process and achieving academic excellence.
In line with the directives of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, to enhance faculty competencies in modern technologies and sustainability, Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, has successfully completed the AI Ambassadors Program, jointly organized by the National Telecommunications Institute, affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and the "Engineers for Sustainable Egypt" initiative. The program spanned three months, totaling 40 intensive training hours, including 36 hours of interactive lectures and 4 hours dedicated to a practical capstone project, as part of the third cohort. Recognized as one of the largest national capacity-building initiatives, the AI Ambassadors Program targets non-specialists, aiming to promote the use of artificial intelligence tools and technologies, and foster a digital transformation culture in various work environments, in alignment with Egypt's Digital Vision 2030. The program focused on empowering participants to understand the role of AI in enhancing institutional performance and decision-making, while also addressing the ethical challenges and societal responsibilities associated with AI technologies. Core topics included: • Fundamentals and applications of AI across sectors • Use of modern AI tools • Principles of data analysis • Ethical considerations of AI adoption • Practical applications in both public and private sectors This achievement reflects Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to developing its academic staff and supporting national efforts toward digital innovation and sustainable development in higher education.
As part of Al-Mustaqbal University's strategic vision to expand academic collaboration and engage with leading regional and international institutions, and under the direct guidance of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, University President, Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, paid an official visit to Mansoura University in Egypt. The visit aimed to enhance cooperation in areas such as student summer training and academic assessment systems. The visit began with a meeting with Prof. Dr. Tarek Mostafa Ghalwash, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research and coordinator of the summer training program, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Marwa Hassan Hassan, Head of International Relations. Discussions covered key components of the summer program, including logistics, accommodation, reception, and student placement in medical and engineering disciplines, in addition to cultural and tourism-related activities. As part of the visit, Dr. Elalem met with Prof. Dr. Maha El-Ashmawy, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Center at Mansoura University. The two sides reviewed the center’s operational model and explored potential collaboration in areas such as question banks, e-assessments, and modern evaluation systems through joint training and experience exchange programs. This visit reflects Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to building strategic academic partnerships with distinguished institutions and fostering a progressive educational environment aligned with global standards, aiming to produce highly qualified graduates capable of addressing contemporary challenges.
As part of Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to implementing the highest standards of academic quality and adopting precise methodologies of measurement and evaluation, the final examinations for the first-year students at the College of Medicine are continuing under the esteemed supervision of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Bawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and the follow-up of Professor Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the University's Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The examinations are being conducted under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Walaa Luay Al-Falluji, and close monitoring by Dr. Ban Dhahir Al-Shammari, Head of the College’s Measurement and Evaluation Unit. The theoretical and practical exams in the biology subject were administered smoothly and with a high level of discipline. Students were distributed across examination halls in an exemplary manner, reflecting the college’s dedication to providing an appropriate testing environment that meets accredited academic standards, with the full presence of faculty members and examination committee officials. Upon completion of the allotted time for the theoretical exam, students were granted a 30-minute break, followed by the practical exam for the same subject, which lasted one hour. This approach is consistently applied to all subjects that include both theoretical and practical components. The evaluation process for the theoretical exams, as well as the monitoring of students' performance in the practical sessions, was conducted in accordance with the adopted standards of measurement and evaluation. This reflects the college’s ongoing efforts to enhance academic performance and ensure the quality of modern medical education outcomes at Al-Mustaqbal University.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Walaa Luay Al-Falluji, the final practical examination in Human Anatomy for first-year medical students was conducted on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, following the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) methodology. The examination process was closely monitored by Dr. Baan Dhaher Al-Shammari, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the College. Her responsibilities included reviewing the distribution of examination papers, ensuring the availability of all required logistical and technical resources, and supervising the organization of practical questions across ten structured OSCE stations, in alignment with the academic and procedural standards adopted by internationally accredited medical institutions. Students were rotated through 10 stations, with a time allocation of 20 minutes per student, under a well-structured schedule that regulated the flow of candidates through separate entry and exit points. This strategy was implemented to prevent academic misconduct and to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of the examination process. The examination was conducted in the presence of the full academic staff of the College of Medicine, in addition to the Head of the Anatomy Department and members of the Examination Committee, ensuring that the exam proceedings were carried out with the highest levels of organization, professionalism, and academic rigor.
