Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University Receives AI Ambassadors Program Certificate from Egypt's National Telecommunications Institute

In line with the directives of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, to enhance faculty competencies in modern technologies and sustainability, Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, has successfully completed the AI Ambassadors Program, jointly organized by the National Telecommunications Institute, affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and the "Engineers for Sustainable Egypt" initiative. The program spanned three months, totaling 40 intensive training hours, including 36 hours of interactive lectures and 4 hours dedicated to a practical capstone project, as part of the third cohort. Recognized as one of the largest national capacity-building initiatives, the AI Ambassadors Program targets non-specialists, aiming to promote the use of artificial intelligence tools and technologies, and foster a digital transformation culture in various work environments, in alignment with Egypt's Digital Vision 2030. The program focused on empowering participants to understand the role of AI in enhancing institutional performance and decision-making, while also addressing the ethical challenges and societal responsibilities associated with AI technologies. Core topics included: • Fundamentals and applications of AI across sectors • Use of modern AI tools • Principles of data analysis • Ethical considerations of AI adoption • Practical applications in both public and private sectors This achievement reflects Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to developing its academic staff and supporting national efforts toward digital innovation and sustainable development in higher education.


Al-Mustaqbal University Strengthens Academic Partnerships with Mansoura University in Training, Assessment, and Evaluation

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University's strategic vision to expand academic collaboration and engage with leading regional and international institutions, and under the direct guidance of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, University President, Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, paid an official visit to Mansoura University in Egypt. The visit aimed to enhance cooperation in areas such as student summer training and academic assessment systems. The visit began with a meeting with Prof. Dr. Tarek Mostafa Ghalwash, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research and coordinator of the summer training program, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Marwa Hassan Hassan, Head of International Relations. Discussions covered key components of the summer program, including logistics, accommodation, reception, and student placement in medical and engineering disciplines, in addition to cultural and tourism-related activities. As part of the visit, Dr. Elalem met with Prof. Dr. Maha El-Ashmawy, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Center at Mansoura University. The two sides reviewed the center’s operational model and explored potential collaboration in areas such as question banks, e-assessments, and modern evaluation systems through joint training and experience exchange programs. This visit reflects Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to building strategic academic partnerships with distinguished institutions and fostering a progressive educational environment aligned with global standards, aiming to produce highly qualified graduates capable of addressing contemporary challenges.


President of Mansoura University Visits Al-Mustaqbal University and Signs a Joint Cooperation Agreement

As part of its internationalization efforts and academic openness, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, welcomed Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University in Egypt, accompanied by a high-level academic delegation. The meeting explored ways to activate existing agreements and enhance cooperation in higher education, scientific research, and training. A joint cooperation agreement was signed covering various academic and research fields. The event also featured the participation of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University, which proposed collaboration with Mansoura University in academic assessment and evaluation through experience exchange and specialized training programs.


The Launch of the Final Exams for the Second Semester 2024/2025 at Al-Mustaqbal University Colleges

On Saturday, May 3, 2025, the final exams for the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year began at Al-Mustaqbal University Colleges, amidst a distinguished academic and organizational atmosphere. The exams were held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of the University, with direct supervision from Prof. Assistant Dr. Abbas Abdul-Bawi, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Munther Fadel Hassan, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, as well as the follow-up of Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit. All colleges started the exams according to well-organized schedules covering different academic levels and disciplines, with full compliance to the instructions and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, ensuring the smooth and accurate conduct of the exam process. The exams are being conducted under the direct supervision of the Vice Presidents, Deans of the Colleges, teaching staff, and the central exam committees. A team from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research also attended and monitored the exams, observing the smooth flow of the assessment process and praised the significant role Al-Mustaqbal University plays in ensuring the success of the exam process and providing a suitable environment for students. The Measurement and Evaluation Unit plays a central role in monitoring and evaluating the exam process by coordinating with the measurement units in the colleges. This includes training students on the exam system and how to handle the exam papers, monitoring the application of assessment standards, ensuring the accuracy of the exam blueprints, organizing the distribution of answer sheets (bubble sheets), and generating reports on the progress of the exams. The unit also evaluates all exams and measures student satisfaction to ensure transparency and fairness. Several students expressed their great satisfaction with the organization and discipline within the exam halls, appreciating the university's efforts and commitment to providing a supportive and motivating exam environment, reflecting the advanced level the university has reached in managing the educational process. Al-Mustaqbal University implements a series of effective procedural measures across all its colleges to enhance the application of measurement and evaluation standards, which contributes to improving the outcomes of the educational process and ensuring its quality, in line with the university's goals of advancing academic education and raising students' academic performance.


Measurement and Evaluation Unit Participates in the Third International Festival of Future Sustainability Week at Al-Mustaqbal University

As part of the events of the Third International Festival of Future Sustainability Week, the Measurement and Evaluation Unit participated in the scientific exhibition held at Al-Mustaqbal University, where the unit presented a distinguished display highlighting its role in supporting quality assurance and continuous development within the university. This participation was held under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawei, the Scientific Assistant to the University President, and Professor Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, with outstanding contributions from Ms. Anfal Salah Kankoun and Ms. Dohaa Ibrahim Khalil, who provided visitors with detailed information about the unit’s tasks and operational mechanisms. The unit’s participation included a collection of recent publications, reports, and statistical data issued by the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, showcasing its efforts in assessing academic performance. It also featured introductory videos, statistics about Al-Mustaqbal University, and professionally designed banners that illustrated the unit’s vision, mission, objectives, areas of work, and its essential role in enhancing educational quality and ensuring the effectiveness of academic programs.
