In line with the directives of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, to enhance faculty competencies in modern technologies and sustainability, Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Elalem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, has successfully completed the AI Ambassadors Program, jointly organized by the National Telecommunications Institute, affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and the "Engineers for Sustainable Egypt" initiative.
The program spanned three months, totaling 40 intensive training hours, including 36 hours of interactive lectures and 4 hours dedicated to a practical capstone project, as part of the third cohort.
Recognized as one of the largest national capacity-building initiatives, the AI Ambassadors Program targets non-specialists, aiming to promote the use of artificial intelligence tools and technologies, and foster a digital transformation culture in various work environments, in alignment with Egypt's Digital Vision 2030.
The program focused on empowering participants to understand the role of AI in enhancing institutional performance and decision-making, while also addressing the ethical challenges and societal responsibilities associated with AI technologies. Core topics included:
• Fundamentals and applications of AI across sectors
• Use of modern AI tools
• Principles of data analysis
• Ethical considerations of AI adoption
• Practical applications in both public and private sectors
This achievement reflects Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to developing its academic staff and supporting national efforts toward digital innovation and sustainable development in higher education.
