Meeting with Liaison Members of the Women’s Affairs Division at Al-Mustaqbal University

The Office of Scientific Supervision at Al-Mustaqbal University Holds a Meeting with the Women’s Affairs Division The Office of Scientific and Academic Supervision at Al-Mustaqbal University hosted a meeting chaired by Professor Dr. Muzafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, with the attendance of Dr. Sahira Qahtan Abduljabbar, Head of the Women’s Affairs Division at the University Presidency, along with liaison members from several university departments. During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the directives of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, particularly those related to the follow-up and implementation of the ministerial program associated with this vital aspect, in addition to documenting activities and promoting them through media outlets and social media platforms. In his remarks, Dr. Al-Zuhairi highlighted the pioneering and central role of women in building an aware and educated generation, instilled with values of loyalty and belonging to the homeland. He stressed the need to activate the role of the Women’s Affairs Division at the University Presidency and its affiliated units in colleges and various departments, through organizing workshops and seminars directed at female students and staff, as well as hosting prominent and influential women figures to discuss social issues related to women. He also pointed out the importance of addressing the challenges facing society amid technological advancements, artificial intelligence, and climate change, and the role of women in confronting them. The meeting also underscored the active participation of the Women’s Affairs Division in the Future Ambassadors for Sustainability Camp, scheduled to be held in early October 2025, to ensure a prominent presence in supporting women’s issues and enhancing their role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The meeting concluded with contributions from attendees, who presented observations and suggestions regarding the work mechanisms and plans of the Women’s Affairs Division for the academic year 2025–2026
