The Women’s Affairs Division at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the Forum for Supporting Women’s Political Participation, held within the framework of the National Strategic Plan for Iraqi Women, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Department in Babil Governorate, on September 14, 2025. The event was attended by the First Deputy, Mr. Alaa Ahmed Al-Aaraji, along with several representatives of civil society organizations. The participation came under the first pillar: Women’s Political Participation and Development. The discussions emphasized the importance of awareness campaigns to encourage effective participation in the upcoming elections, the development of a training plan to enhance the leadership capacities of women cadres, and the need to protect women from blackmail and threats of defamation or character assassination.
