Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in the 11th International Workshop on UI GreenMetric World University Rankings (IWGM 2025), held at Université Côte d’Azur in Nice, France. The prestigious event brought together over 300 academic leaders, university presidents, and international experts in sustainability and global university rankings. The workshop focused on exchanging best practices in building sustainable campuses and highlighted the growing role of UI GreenMetric in advancing higher education institutions toward the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Prof. Dr. Majdi played an active role in the workshop by moderating one of the main sessions and delivering a presentation in which he showcased Al-Mustaqbal University's pioneering efforts in environmental sustainability and green transformation. He highlighted the university’s key initiatives and their positive impact on international rankings. During the event, Prof. Dr. Majdi was awarded a Certificate of Participation in recognition of his contribution. He also held several high-level meetings and discussions with representatives from renowned universities in the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, and France, laying the foundation for future academic and environmental collaborations.
