As part of the efforts of the Center for Continuing Education at Al-Mustaqbal University to strengthen institutional partnerships and support training and development programs, Dr. Rida Abdul Aati Al-Feshawi, Director of the Center, met with a delegation from the Babylon Electricity Directorate that included: Eng. Ali Jawad Kazem – Senior Chief Engineer, Training Officer at the Babylon Electricity Directorate. Eng. Qais Hamed Jaflawi – Chief Engineer, Occupational Safety Engineer. During the meeting, coordination took place to implement a set of specialized technical training courses aimed at enhancing the efficiency and skills of the Directorate’s engineers and technicians. Both parties emphasized the importance of these courses in developing the technical and engineering capabilities of the workforce in the electricity sector, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), by preparing personnel capable of handling modern technologies and improving institutional performance. The VEX Robotics Workshop continues at the Continuing Education Center at Al‑Mustaqbal University, with strong engagement from students and enthusiasts in artificial intelligence and robotics. The workshop is part of the university s ongoing efforts to support technical skills and promote practical education in the fields of science and engineering. Attendees are receiving intensive training in designing and programming robots using advanced VEX systems, under the supervision of a group of experts in the field. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Reda Abdel-Aty El-Fishawy, Director of the Continuing Education Center, confirmed that the workshop is part of a series of specialized programs the center is keen to organize. These programs aim to equip youth with future-ready skills and to foster an interactive learning environment that aligns with the advancements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. He noted that the program goes beyond theoretical instruction, incorporating hands-on applications and mini competitions designed to stimulate innovation and teamwork among the participants. The lecture addressed the most prominent modern trends in smart education and ways to employ algorithms and predictive analytics to support the university educational process. 🔧 Microcontroller Programming (Arduino) Engineer Muhammad Saad Abis delivered practical lectures covering the basic concepts of microcontroller programming, explaining the mechanism for connecting them to sensors, and presenting practical applications of smart systems used in automation, robotics, and advanced technical projects. 📱 Mobile App Development Using Flutter Programmer Sarah Saadoun Abbas delivered a series of training lectures focused on developing smartphone applications using Flutter. This symposium was held in cooperation with the College of Arts and Humanities and the College of Fine Arts, and was attended by a select group of academics and those interested in cultural and tourism affairs. At the beginning of the symposium, Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati Al-Fishawi, Director of the Center for Continuing Education, emphasized the importance of this occasion in strengthening Baghdad's cultural role. He pointed out that the center seeks, through this event, to highlight the capital's tourism and cultural assets and highlight its rich heritage, which merits this prestigious title based on strict criteria set by the Arab Tourism Organization. This reflects the Iraqi capital's worthiness of this prestigious title. Under the patronage of Professor Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of Future University, the Continuing Education Center organized the Imperial English Test UK. The test targeted medical students, aiming to develop their language skills and prepare them for the English-language nature of their studies. Participants in this test receive an internationally accredited certificate from the British Council, in addition to a certificate from the university's Continuing Education Center, enhancing their future academic and professional opportunities. The test was conducted in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati Al-Fishawy, Director of the Continuing Education Center, and Mr. Mohamed Abdel-Amir, the Center’s Programmer.
