Under the esteemed patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Continuing Education Center organized a specialized online workshop titled: "Collaboration in Scientific Research", in cooperation with Mansoura University (Arab Republic of Egypt) and the College of Medical and Health Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University. The workshop aimed to shed light on the importance of both international and local collaboration in scientific research, and to enhance research partnerships between universities and scientific institutions, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and the development of innovative solutions for contemporary challenges across various disciplines. The main topics of the workshop included: Concepts and methods of scientific collaboration between individuals and institutions Challenges facing scientific research and the role of teamwork in overcoming them Mechanisms of joint funding and collaborative academic publishing Presentation of successful models of international research collaboration The workshop was attended by a distinguished group of researchers and academics from both Iraqi and Egyptian universities. It featured rich discussions on how to strengthen joint research efforts and enhance scientific output in the region. The Director of the Continuing Education Center affirmed that this workshop is part of a broader series of scientific activities aimed at fostering an integrated research environment within the university and expanding avenues for academic cooperation with regional and international universities. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants emphasized the importance of adopting a culture of collaborative research and encouraging joint projects focused on innovation and societal impact.
