This month’s maintenance included a range of equipment, most notably the center’s fully electric sustainable transport vehicle, which stands as a practical model of the university’s shift toward eco-friendly and renewable energy-based transportation solutions. As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to meet the national and global standards of environmental and academic sustainability, Prof. Dr. Sulwan Ubaid Waheed, Director of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Energy Research, participated in the second official meeting of the central committee assigned to prepare for the upcoming visit of the evaluation delegations from the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Environment, held on July 19, 2025. 🏛️ The meeting focused on reviewing the essential sustainability criteria and institutional requirements needed to qualify for the “First Sustainable University in Iraq” award.
