Continuous field visits to several actual work sites, in order to observe the practical reality of engineering projects.”

The summer training program for students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies continues under the direct supervision of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Energy Research. Students are actively participating in continuous field visits to several actual work sites, in order to observe the practical reality of engineering projects and engage directly with the technical and administrative aspects of implementation. This program aims to enhance the students’ practical skills and connect them with the real working environment, in alignment with labor market demands and in support of building a qualified and well-trained generation of engineers. Several field tours have already been conducted with the presence of Professor Dr. Silwan Obeid Wahid, the Director of the Center, who emphasized the importance of this training project in refining students’ abilities and broadening their technical knowledge. He noted that moving between various sites gives students diverse experiences and strengthens their understanding of the engineer’s role in different fields, whether in planning, supervision, or execution. This training project has provided great benefits to the students, offering them a rare opportunity to directly observe operational systems in both investment and government projects, interact with modern equipment and tools, and learn about real-world execution methods within a professional environment. The Al-Mustaqbal Center for Energy Research reaffirms its commitment to supporting and organizing such qualitative programs that contribute to student development and prepare them for entering the job market with high efficiency and professionalism.
