As part of the summer training program activities for engineering students, Dr. Silwan Obeid Wahid, Director of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Energy Research, visited the center and delivered a specialized scientific lecture to the students participating in the program. The lecture covered key topics, including the importance of transitioning to renewable energy, the design and operation mechanisms of solar systems, and the technical and engineering challenges facing this sector in Iraq. It also included valuable guidance for students on developing their skills and linking academic knowledge to practical application. This visit reflects the center administration’s commitment to supporting students and providing an educational environment that combines theoretical learning with hands-on experience—contributing to the preparation of engineering professionals capable of keeping pace with developments in the energy sector job market.
