Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq, under the supervision of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and in cooperation with the Faculty of Commerce – Mansoura University (Egypt) and the College of Business Economics – University of Bahrain, the College of Administrative Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University announces the convening of the Second International Scientific Conference entitled: “Poverty and Sustainable Development in Iraq: The Cost of Impact and Response Policy” to be held on 1–2 April 2026 at Al-Mustaqbal University. The conference aims to highlight key issues related to poverty and sustainable development, analyze the economic and social costs of poverty, and discuss government policies and social support programs. It also addresses environmental and economic sustainability, as well as the role of digital transformation, financial technology (FinTech), and artificial intelligence in addressing development challenges. The conference will include several scientific tracks, including the economic, administrative, accounting, and financial tracks, with the participation of a distinguished group of researchers and academics from Iraqi, Arab, and international universities. The organizing committee invites researchers and interested scholars to participate and submit their abstracts and papers within the specified deadlines.
