Iam Mustafa Ali Al-Awadi is an analytical chemist and academic specializing in separation science and instrumental analysis. iam received his B.Sc. degree from the University of Baghdad, College of Education Ibn Al-Haytham. i was awarded a fellowship from the Ministry of Education to pursue his M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (2013), where i graduated ranked first in his class. He later obtained his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran (2018), supported by a fellowship from the Iranian Ministry of Science.
I worked as a lecturer at the College of Science, Mustansiriyah University. He is also a member of the Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Safety and Security Unit affiliated with the Office of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs at Mustansiriyah University. He currently serves as a lecturer at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University.
i have expertise focuses on modern separation techniques, including high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), capillary electrophoresis, and electrophoretic methods, in addition to spectroscopic techniques such as flame atomic absorption and graphite furnace spectroscopy. His research interests include the detection and assessment of heavy and carcinogenic elements, as well as improving the enantiomeric separation of chiral pharmaceutical compounds through the synthesis and application of novel chiral selectors.
I havve published several peer-reviewed research articles in high-impact international journals, including Journal of Chromatography A, Chemical Papers, and Talanta. He is actively involved in teaching analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, and pharmaceutical analysis courses, with a focus on integrating theoretical principles with practical laboratory applications.
