L AYTH ABDULKAREEM HASSNAWI is a doctor of computer engineering. He received the B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from University of Technology, Iraq, in 1993; and the M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from University of Technology, Iraq, in 2002. He got his PhD from University Malaysia Perlis in 2013, His research interests are on Vehicular Networks, Computer and Communication network modeling using discrete event simulators, wireless networking and routing in mobile wireless networks. He worked as a researcher in the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Iraq from (1993-2021), during his working period in MOST in Iraq he earned the position of Chairman Of Electronic Design Department from 2003 until 2009 and then he earned the position of Director of the Electronic Manufacturing Research Center till now. As well as during his working period in MOST in Iraq he worked as an external lecturer for ten years with the Iraqi ministry of higher education. He is IEEE Senior Member, Member of British Computer Society (MBCS), IEEE Computer society, and Universal Association of Computer & Electronic Engineering (UACEE).
