As part of its continuous commitment to sustainability and its role in advancing academic and community engagement, Al-Mustaqbal University is preparing to launch the “Fourth International Sustainability Week 2026,” under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the direct supervision of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi. This distinguished international event will be held under the slogan “An Academic Vision for a Green and Sustainable Future”, from April 12 to April 15, 2026, with broad local and international participation from researchers, academics, and individuals interested in sustainability issues. The event aims to highlight the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while promoting innovation and the exchange of expertise in environmental and societal solutions, contributing to the building of a more sustainable future. The activities are scheduled to commence at 9:00 AM within the university campus in Babil Province, featuring a diverse range of scientific and cultural programs. The event will serve as an effective platform for dialogue and positive change, reflecting the university’s leading role in supporting sustainable development at both local and global levels.
