Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by the College of Health and Medical Technologies, announced the organization of the “Art and Calligraphy Festival” as part of the activities of the second day of the Sustainability Program. This initiative aims to highlight the role of the arts in promoting and embedding sustainability concepts within both the academic environment and the wider community. The festival was held under the slogan “The Sustainable Letter is an Art that Leaves a Lasting Impact,” reflecting the college’s vision of integrating artistic creativity with environmental and humanitarian values. The event witnessed wide participation from students, who presented outstanding artistic works expressing the relationship between art and sustainability through innovative and contemporary approaches. The festival featured a variety of artistic activities, including painting, through which participants expressed environmental and humanitarian issues, and Arabic calligraphy, showcasing the beauty of Arabic script in a modern spirit. It also included sculpture and handicrafts that relied on recycling materials and using them creatively to reflect the concept of sustainability in a practical and tangible way. Additionally, the festival provided an interactive platform that allowed students to showcase their creativity to attendees, connect with their peers, and exchange experiences, contributing to the creation of an environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking. The exhibition attracted remarkable attendance from faculty members and students, who praised the high artistic standards and excellent organization of the event.
